Learn
how to reset your DNS configuration for a domain back to the default settings
applied by 1&1.
Please note:
Resetting your DNS settings back to
default will cause your domain and e-mail to utilize the 1&1 services.
Please make sure you are prepared for
the DNS reset before performing the reset as DNS changes may take 24-48 hours
to complete.
Step 1
Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password.

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page.

Click Manage Domains from the
Domains panel.

Click the arrow icon next to
the domain name in question to display an options menu.

Select Edit DNS Settings from
the Domain Settings section of the options menu.
Step 5
The domain's current DNS settings
are shown on the page.
Click the Reset button at the
bottom of the page to reset all DNS settings to the 1&1 default DNS
settings for the domain.
